     FEATS OF THE WEEK: No. 11 Bellevue, Wash., set a state record for most consecutive wins. The Wolverines mauled Mercer Island, Wash., 49-7, for their 49th straight win dating back to the 2010 season. They also have won 10 state titles since 2001 and are currently shooting for their sixth straight in Class 3A. ... Senior Shuler Bentley of No. 20 Duncan, S.C., Byrnes had three touchdown passes to lead a 54-14 rout of Spartanburg, S.C., Dorman. Bentley (an Old Dominion recruit) now has 159 touchdown passes for his career, a new state record. ... Senior Trey Quinn of Lake Charles, La., Barbe became his state’s all-time leader in receiving yards. Quinn (LSU) caught 14 passes for 152 yards in a 42-14 blowout of Sulphur, La. He has 5,881 yards for his career and is only 475 yards behind the national record-holder Dorial Green-Beckham of Springfield, Mo., Hillcrest (now at Missouri). ... Senior John Wolford of Jacksonville, Fla., Bishop Kenny set a pair of state records during a 38-20 win over Glen St. Mary, Fla., Baker County. Wolford (East Carolina) completed 18 of 28 passes for 237 yards and two touchdowns, giving him the record for career touchdown passes (113) and completions (645). ... Apopka, Fla., set a state record for most points in a season. The Blue Darters (9-1) have 529 points after thumping Orlando, Fla., Olympia, 45-17.

Doug Huff compiled the rankings from 1987 until 1999. Jamie DeMoney has compiled the poll since the start of the 1999 basketball season to the present.
