PrepNation 101 Preseason Countdown: No. 30 Mission Viejo

PrepNation.com continues the most comprehensive package of preseason high school football rankings ever published. We are counting down the PrepNation 101 Preseason High School Football Rankings, from No. 101 to No. 26, leading up to the release of the official preseason National Prep Poll on August 3.

30. Mission Viejo (Calif.)
Last season: 10-2, lost in second round of CIF-SS Pac-5 playoffs
Coach: Bob Johnson
Key players: OT Mike Criste (6-5, 295, Sr.), OG Patrick Webster (6-3, 275, Sr.), RB-S Jake Marshall (6-1, 210, Sr.), RB Exavier Edwards (5-10, 190, Sr.), QB Dallin McEwen (6-2, 205, Sr.), DE Marc Milllan (6-1, 212, Sr.), LB Nick Dzubnar (6-2, 218, Sr.)
Outlook: Four offensive and five defensive starters are back for the Diablos, who have qualified for the CIF playoffs 10 consecutive years. Offensive line play should be a strength with highly rated recruit Criste and Webster leading the charge. A strong running game featuring Marshall and Orange Lutheran transfer Edwards will help ease any growing pains experienced by first-year starter McEwen at QB.

Mike Criste is an agressive OL Ltackle. USC was stupid to not pick him up
