PrepNation 101 Preseason Countdown: No. 36 Bolles

PrepNation.com continues the most comprehensive package of preseason high school football rankings ever published. We are counting down the PrepNation 101 Preseason High School Football Rankings, from No. 101 to No. 26, leading up to the release of the official preseason National Prep Poll on August 3.

36. Bolles (Jacksonville, Fla.)
Last season: 14-0, Class 2A state champion
Coach: Corky Rogers
Key players: QB Chandler Carr (6-1, 195, Sr.), OL Brent Benedict (6-5, 283, Sr.), DB Desmond Cooper (6-2, 187, Sr.), RB Jawan Jamison (5-8, 165, Sr.), WR Jacob Stenson (5-10, 181, Sr.), RB Jordan Garside (5-9, 204, Sr.), LB Josh Hood (6-0, 222, Sr.)
Outlook: Another year, another title for the Bulldogs who picked up their eighth state championship in 20 years under Rogers. Bolles is moving down one class this season to 2B, where a potential matchup with No. 41 Pahokee could possibly await in the postseason. The strength of this team should be its running attack, with returning starters Jamison and Garside moving the chains behind Georgia-bound offensive tackle Benedict. Wake Forest recruit Cooper and leading tackler Hood are the top returning players from a defense that allowed only 10 points per game last season.
