Coach: Stephen Robicheaux
Key players: RB Henry Lenox (6-0, 215, Sr.), RB Marshall Charles (6-0, 190, Sr.), OT Ashton Duhe (6-3, 295, Sr.), DT Calvin Ursin (6-0, 255, Sr.)
Outlook: Destrehan, which enters the year with a 29-game winning streak, became just the third team ever to repeat as Louisiana 5A champion. Graduation claimed many of the Wildcats’ top players but the team’s top two rushers do return with all-district selection Lenox and Charles back for their senior seasons. All-district performer Duhe will be counted on as an anchor for an otherwise rebuilt offensive line.
