PrepNation 101 Preseason Countdown: No. 82 Olive Branch

PrepNation.com continues the most comprehensive package of preseason high school football rankings ever published. We are counting down the PrepNation 101 Preseason High School Football Rankings, from No. 101 to No. 26, leading up to the release of the official preseason National Prep Poll on August 3.

82. Olive Branch (Miss.)
Last season: 10-3, Class 5A state quarterfinalist
Coach: Scott Samsel
Key players: OT Damien Robinson (6-7, 330, Sr.), OL Eric Lawson (6-6, 320, Sr.), OL Shalon Coleman (6-7, 260, Sr.), RB Keyshun Shipp (5-11, 215, Sr.), DE Reggie Williams (6-3, 255, Sr.), LB Brandon Timmons (6-3, 245, Sr.)
Outlook: Olive Branch kicked off last season with an impressive win in South Florida over nationally ranked Pahokee (Fla.). The Conquistadors’ three losses were to nationally ranked Memphis (Tenn.) University and South Panola, and then in the playoffs to Madison Central, which will begin this season in the national rankings. There is great size and talent up front, including Coleman, an Auburn recruit. Shipp has the ability to become a big-time RB. The defensive front also features great size and athleticism with Williams and Timmons.
