Outlook: The Tigers fell just short in their attempt to win a sixth consecutive state title when their 89-game winning streak was snapped in an overtime loss to Meridian in the 5A state championship game. Even with the loss, they had still put together the third longest win streak in prep football history. The top returning player is Parker, a big-time recruit who had 2,500 rushing yards and 26 touchdowns as a junior. He is backed up by Griffin, a talented junior. The top returning player on defense is Clark, who had nine sacks last season.
