URBANDALE, Iowa -- For the second time in three seasons, the final No. 1 ranking in the National Prep Poll belongs to Fort Lauderdale, Fla., St. Thomas Aquinas.
The Raiders' average margin of victory was 37 points with wins over 12 playoff qualifiers from three different states. They have only two losses since the start of the 2007 season.

I'm glad that you competed against the CalPreps computer. In predicting the same 180 games, CalPreps got the winner right 127 times, while you got 116 right.
None of the other sportwriters beat them this year, either. I hope you will compete against them next year.
For those that dismiss the computer rankings, perhaps it's time to re-think your position.
