Week 16 National Prep Football Poll released

URBANDALE, Iowa -- After eight straight weeks without having a team in the national rankings, the state of Georgia is once again represented in the National Prep Poll's Top 25.

No. 15 Tucker (Ga.) is making its first-ever appearance in the National Prep Poll's Top 25 list. The Tigers (13-0) have a roster loaded with top-tier Division I talent and are seeking their second 4A championship in three seasons.

Also joining the Top 25 poll this week is No. 16 Central (Miami), which ended the regular season ranked No. 1 in the Florida 6A poll and ousted rival Northwestern (Miami) from the playoffs over the weekend.

At Nos. 24 and 25 are a pair of teams making their national rankings debut for the season. Led by record-breaking quarterback Justin Worley, No. 24 Northwestern (Rock Hill, S.C.) is one win away from capturing the 4A/II state championship. No. 25 Rockhurst (Kansas City, Mo.) picked up its fourth state championship since 2000 (ninth overall) when it defeated regionally ranked and two-time defending champ Hazelwood Central (Florissant), 10-7.

Should you not have DeLaSalle of Concord, California be higher than 9 since they have won 103 consecutive games in the West?
