Preseason National Prep Basketball Poll released


URBANDALE, Iowa -- Findlay Prep of Henderson, Nev., is ranked No. 1 in the first National Prep Poll of the 2009-10 high school basketball season.

The Pilots, who also ended last season ranked No. 1, have a roster loaded with high-level Division I talent and are set to play a schedule sprinkled with ranked opponents.

You forgot about St.Frances Academy of Baltimore. Last year 33-5 Went undefeated in Baltimore Catholic League Baltimore Catholic League Champions. Beat DeMatha 64-58. Then Junior Dante Holmes had 34pts. 9rebs. in win over DeMatha. Returning 4 starters from last year. JV went 29-0. Mt.St.Joe finished 5th Last year in the Baltimore Catholic League.

James Madison Memorial should Definently be in the TOP 25 are you kidding? Just Cause we don't got jeronne more? We got Jamar Morris now and Tre Burnette, Jamar Morris who was mentioned as an outstanding player at the Lebron Camp. Vander Blue, Tre Creamer, Jamar Morris, Tre Burnette, Junior Lomomba, Miles Chamberland, yea its gonna be the most Underlooked team in the nation, ranked preseason number 1 in Wisconsin finsihed i think either 19th or 21st on this pole, you let me down prepnation...you let me down.

You know my disagreements about which teams should be where, but with that said your poll is the nation's best and in my opinion you guys are the most knowledgable among those who rate teams. I respect and acknowledge that fact!

Montverde Academy (FL) should for sure be top 25 and Madison Memorial (WI) should be as well

Findlay Prep and Mouth of Wilson should have huge asterisks by their rankings. I believe that Findlay Prep can only have players from outside of the State of Nevada. How can they represent a state when no players on the team are local?
Dump Findlay and Mouth of Wilson and maybe a couple of others. How difficult is it to win, when you get top players from around the country. I think that Mouth of Wilson was drawing top players from other countries in the past. Come on people, let's open our eyes.
