PrepNation 101 Preseason Countdown: No. 68 Memphis University

PrepNation.com continues the most comprehensive package of preseason high school football rankings ever published. We are counting down the PrepNation 101 Preseason High School Football Rankings, from No. 101 to No. 26, leading up to the release of the official preseason National Prep Poll on August 3.

68. Memphis University (Memphis, Tenn.)
Last season: 13-0, Division II-AA state champion
Coach: Bobby Alston
Key players: QB Barry Brunetti (6-2, 210, Sr.), RB Keith McBride (6-1, 215, Sr.), RB-DB Stephond Allmond (5-10, 175, Sr.), OL Ben Still (6-4, 280, So.)
Outlook: The Owls have seven returning offensive starters but only one on defense. The leader is Brunetti, a West Virginia recruit who had nearly 2,000 combined passing and rushing yards with 36 touchdowns last season. McBride and Allmond are also great offensive weapons and are poised for big senior seasons. The Owls have a challenging schedule that includes road games against Top 101 Mississippi powers Olive Branch and South Panola.
