Key players: WR-FS Jamaal Kearse (6-2, 200, Sr.), DL-OL Sioue Potoa’e (6-2, 230, Sr.), DE-TE Darius Waters (6-2, 220, Sr.), RB Teddy Cotton (5-11, 185, Sr.), CB Willis Wilson (5-10, 185, Sr.), QB Dalton Gervais (6-2, 190, Sr.)
Outlook: Lakes has enough talent and experience to challenge Bellevue for Class 3A state supremacy this season. The Lancers return 19 total starters including as many as 10 Division I prospects. Kearse, Potoa’e, and Waters have all committed to play at Washington. A key newcomer is 6-7, 300-pound sophomore tackle Zach Banner.
