PrepNation 101 Preseason Countdown: No. 98 Crespi

PrepNation.com continues the most comprehensive package of preseason high school football rankings ever published. We are counting down the PrepNation 101 Preseason High School Football Rankings, from No. 101 to No. 26, leading up to the release of the official preseason National Prep Poll on August 3.

98. Crespi (Encino, Calif.)
Last season: 6-4, did not qualify for playoffs
Coach: Jeremiah Ross
Key players: QB Bryan Bennett (6-3, 180, Sr.), WR-S Blake Stanton (6-1, 190, Sr.), OL-DL Hroniss Grasu (6-3, 250, Sr.), OL Ben Loth (6-5, 270, Sr.), DE Reginald Coates (6-2, 210, Jr.)
Outlook: Crespi has talent, experience, and plenty to prove after losing its final three games and missing the playoffs last season. The Celts have an All-CIF QB to build around in Bennett, an Oregon recruit who had over 1,600 passing yards last season. His favorite target was Stanton, a talented two-way performer who led the team in both receiving yardage and interceptions. Grasu and Loth lead the team's strong contingent of linemen.
