Prep. Three different Gorman running backs scored touchdowns, including
sophomore Biaggio Walsh – a grandson of Muhammad Ali. It was the Gaels’ eighth
win over an out-of state opponent since 2012. ... No. 5 Miami, Booker T.
Washington demonstrated why it could successfully defend its Prep Poll title from
last season. The Tornadoes elevated four spots in the poll after a 57-21 road
blowout of Chesapeake, Va., Oscar Smith on ESPNU. Senior quarterback Maurice Alexander (FIU) had
364 passing yards and five touchdowns. ... Senior quarterback Josh Rosen (UCLA)
threw for 252 yards and a touchdown, and junior running back Sean McGrew
(uncommitted) ran for 179 yards and three scores as No. 6 Bellflower, Calif.,

The National Prep Poll is the only high school poll distributed to newspapers and websites around the United States by the Associated Press.
Among the criteria used in the weekly compilation of the National Prep Poll rankings are strength of schedule, the ability to accomplish the ultimate goal on a team's schedule (i.e. winning a championship), impact players and performers, a team's coaching and recent tradition.
