Week 13 National Prep Football Poll released

URBANDALE, Iowa -- In six of the last 12 weeks, none of the Top 25 teams in the National Prep Football Poll were beaten. That includes this past weekend, when all 25 nationally ranked squads won their games by at least 22 points.

After that kind of dominance, it's not surprising to see zero changes in which teams comprise this week's national poll. There were a few position shifts, however, including Texas juggernaut Katy's three-spot jump up to No. 4 after its 56-3 annihilation of previously unbeaten district rival Cinco Ranch (Katy) on Saturday. The Tigers, who are always a major factor in the postseason, should now be considered a co-favorite with national No. 1 Trinity (Euless, Texas) for the 5A/Division I state title.
