Week 10 National Prep Football Poll released

URBANDALE, Iowa --The 10th weekly National Prep Football Poll of the season was largely unchanged from the one that preceded it. Only three of the 70 teams ranked last week were defeated, and there is only one new entry in the national Top 25.

Mallard Creek (Charlotte, N.C.) is in the national poll for the first time in its four-year history. Led by North Carolina-bound quarterback Marquise Williams, the Mavericks are 8-0 and have beat their opponents by an average score of 52-7 this season.

Elsewhere in the rankings, St. Thomas Aquinas (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.) moved back up to No. 3 in the poll after a convincing 23-7 win against defending 6A champion Miramar. The Raiders are one of six teams to be ranked in the National Prep Poll's Top 10 every week this season.
