Week 2 National Prep Football Poll released

URBANDALE, Iowa -- The first week of high school football on the mainland came and went without creating much of ripple in the National Prep Poll. The entire Top 25 remained the same and only three teams fell out of the regional rankings.

The entire nation has the opportunity to watch six nationally ranked teams kick off the season this weekend. ESPN and its family of networks will show games featuring No. 1 Trinity (Euless, Texas), No. 2 Plant (Tampa, Fla.), No. 9 Grant (Sacramento, Calif.), No. 12 Good Counsel (Olney, Md), No. 13 St. Xavier (Cincinnati), and No. 21 Manatee (Bradenton, Fla.).

looking to following HS f-ball this year. I ask that you and the other rating these teams take into consideration their STRENGTH of THIS YEARS SCHEDULE. Do not value the # of D1 players or other Potential rating tools. If some school only has 1 or 2 quality opponents vs a true Quality Schedule reward them accordingly

Thanks
