No. 18 Fayetteville wrapped up the Arkansas 7A championship over the weekend with a 40-34 win over Rogers. The Bulldogs (30-0) are the first team in the Natural State's largest classification to finish unbeaten since Little Rock Fair accomplished the feat in 2000.
Led by highly recruited junior wing Harrison Barnes, No. 25 Ames capped a 26-0 season with a 55-45 defeat of Linn-Mar (Marion) in the Iowa Class 4-A championship. Barnes had 24 points, including six dunks which electrified the estimated 12,000 fans in attendance at Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines.

I'm not sure I understand Mater Dei dropping to #14. Their two losses are to #10 Fairfax and #13 King. The have wins over three teams in the poll that are all ranked about them (#6 St. Patrick, #9 Wheeler and #12 St. Benedict's). Wheeler has 7 losses, and the comment shown for St. Benedict's also applies to Mater Dei. Head to head should count for something.
