Week 14 National Prep Football Poll

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- For the fourth consecutive week, the National Prep Poll Top 25 has just one new team entering the national rankings.

Centennial (Peoria, Ariz.), winner of two straight 5A/II state titles, enters this week's poll at No. 25. The Coyotes have won 23 consecutive games, including a convincing 35-16 win over Arizona's top-ranked 5A/I team, Hamilton (Chandler, Ariz.), earlier this season.

The top 5 teams in the rankings remain unchanged for the third straight week. At the top, No. 1 St. Thomas Aquinas (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.) hammered state-ranked Miramar, 49-2, to complete its 10th undefeated regular season since 1975.

Come to Byrant Stadium so Lakeland can give you the beating that will finally shut you up.

Should have happened in 2006 but you got scared and scheduled Glades Central.

You getting like Southlake Carroll and Todd dodge in 2005. Duckin N Dodge in the Dreadnaughts.

I know there all the talk about Byrnes and Dorman, but I've seen South Pointe (Rock Hill, SC) play handful of times and I am telling you that they are just as good as either Byrnes or Dorman. Those who seriously cover High School Football in SC have said the same thing about South Pointe. Too bad they were relugated to 4A Division II playoff instead of 4A Division I where Byrnes and Dorman play. And for those who say that 4A D-II is weaker than 4A D-I may have a point, but remember, until last year all of Byrnes 4A titles came in 4A Division II, so it would be incorrect to claim that South Pointe may be a weaker team because they are in the Division II playoff. They have been DOMINANT all year long maybe the best team in South Carolina
