Jamie:

A little preview of the Louisiana playoffs, which begin this week.

West Monroe came from behind last week on the road after its starting QB went down.

Superstud Jr. D.J. Banks - who may be even more versatile than Joe McKnight - entered the game at QB (projected as a CB in college) and promptly completed 8-of-8 thrugh the air with 2 TDs -- to spearhead the comeback.

West Monroe and Destrehan are the two 5A favorites. Watch Destrehan. They have a very explosive multi-faceted offense with a transfer RB (after Katrina) from John Curtis....name is Jerico Nelson. Punishing, elite, fast back....

Also, a 6-4 dual-threat QB who will play on Saturdays on a high level.

In 4A, Bastrop has a tough, tough draw. District rival Neville likely in the second round....and, my preseason darkhorse Franklinton (No. 7 seed, should be higher)...probably awaits in the Qtrs...and that could be on the road....not sure about that yet...

Archbishop Shaw, the runner-up to Bastrop last year, is on the other side of the bracket and boasts a defense that is nails.....I went down to the Crescent City and got a first-hand look at the Eagles earlier this year.

Was not disappointed....

Kudos,

Clean

Having watched Tulsa Union three weeks ago, and having watched Pahokee, Florida the other night....Pahokee would beat Union by 4 TDs going away.....Pahokee, Fl. is the best team in the country. They showed it by winning the 7-on-7 national championship in California this past summer, and on the field, they have more speed than any team in America...

DON'T FIGHT IT WHEN PEOPLE SEE THESE TEAMS PLAY...WHILE POLLS ARE NICE, REALITY IS THE NAME OF THE GAME!
