The Jackson Clarion-Ledger published a couple nice stories on South Panola football (ranked No. 8 in the National Prep Poll) over the weekend.
The Tigers, who have won 60 consecutive games and four straight 5A titles, are breaking in a new coach. Ricky Woods, who went an amazing 74-1 there in five years, took a new job in Bainbridge, Ga.
Meanwhile, the new man in charge, 38-year old Lance Pouge, has some Big Shoes to fill.
